Financial Times reaffirms Mt Eliza's position as the best provider of Executive Education in the Asia Pacific for the second consecutive year
In the 2009 Financial Times survey, Melbourne Business School's Mt Eliza Executive Education is ranked the No.1 provider of executive education in the Asia Pacific region.
For the second year running, the rankings position Mt Eliza as the only headquartered school in the region to rank in the global top 40 providers of executive education; up 4 places to 36 in the world.
Mt Eliza is No.1 again for customised programs in the Asia Pacific and the only regional provider to rank in the top 45 globally and 11th place for international program delivery.
For open programs, Mt Eliza is trending upwards from 43 to 41 globally, No.1 in the region for food and accommodation and international participants and 18th globally for repeat business and growth.
"The No. 1 ranking underscores our commitment to helping organisations meet their strategic goals through our customised, tailored, open and coaching programs," said Prof. Paul Kirkbride, Deputy Dean, Mt Eliza Executive Education, Melbourne Business School.
Organisations that have partnered with Mt Eliza are seeing the real benefits of executive education solutions.
"Whilst our clients are being cautious in these turbulent times, they are also taking a long term view and continuing with developing their people capability through executive education," said Prof. Kirkbride.
"We are also seeing strong demand from the government sector for customised solutions. Private organisations are driven by the 'war for talent' and the importance of developing their people capability for organisational success. The government sector has developed a similar mindset and in response we've re-organised our business into client teams, including a Public Sector Team dedicated to working with government agencies to develop their leadership capability," he adds.
The No. 1 ranking also reinforces Mt Eliza's approach to program design.
"Our program design is built upon a robust diagnosis process with a focus on the organisational and individual outcomes to be addressed through the executive development solution, including the knowledge, skills, behaviours and beliefs employees need to have at the end of the program.
We then work back to establish an honest understanding of the individuals' current knowledge, skills, behaviours and beliefs and identify the precise gaps to close. The task is then to create a 'journey' from the starting point that will lead to the desired outcomes," said Prof. Kirkbride.
