Peter has extensive corporate sales and marketing experience in the travel and meetings industries and has worked for Mt Eliza for 15 years in executive development. Peter started with Mt Eliza as Conference Marketing Manager building new business for conferences at the Mt Eliza venue. He has moved to business development roles in both customised and open enrolment programs visiting clients to build new business within Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
In 2007 Peter was appointed Market Development Manager for Melbourne Business School working in the Marketing & Admissions group (MBA and degree programs) responsible for student recruitment both domestically and internationally. Then in mid 2008 Peter returned to a business development role in Executive Education.
Peter has completed a Professional Diploma in Human Resources (AHRI/Deakin1998) and has participated in executive development programs at Wharton Business School (USA 2001) and INSEAD (Singapore 2002). He has also undertaken Mt Eliza programs; Leadership in Action: The Looking Glass Experience program (2006) and the Strategic Thinking & Action program (2007).
Peter's past work experience was 15 years with Ansett Transport Industries, Life. Be in it (travel company) and ran his own business for 4 years which was a marketing consultancy specializing in the travel and meetings industries prior to joining Mt Eliza in 1993.
Past clients Peter has worked with include; P&O Australia, Federal Airports Corporation, Coles Myer, DMO, Origin Energy, Melbourne Water in Australia and a number of New Zealand clients including; Fletcher Building, Genesis Energy, Inland Revenue, New Zealand Treasury and St John.
